A Few Details
We know that past treks have been big, far away, and incredibly impactful. Those experiences were amazing! However, this year, we’re intentionally keeping Trek 2025 simple—but no less meaningful. Why Simple?
More Youth Leadership: This is a youth-planned trek from start to finish. The simplicity allows our youth to take ownership and truly lead, rather than just participate in something already laid out for them.
More Focused on Faith: With Faith as our theme, we’re cutting out extra logistics so we can focus on personal spiritual growth. Each day will highlight a different aspect of faith, helping us reflect and connect in ways that last beyond Trek.
Still a Challenge, Still Impactful: Trek will still push us—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But rather than being about extreme distances, it will be about deepening faith, forming stronger bonds, and creating memories together. By keeping it simple, we’re making sure the focus stays on what really matters—faith, testimony, and connection. We can’t wait to experience it together!
DRESS: The youth have chosen to dress up as pioneers on Tuesday only. Please don’t spend a lot of money on pioneer clothes. Keep it simple please! See what you have around the house that will work. Boys: trousers and a button up shirt. Cowboy type hat if desired. Girls: dress or skirt with button top (leggings under skirts.) Bonnet or sun hat. SIMPLE! (No shorts or flip-flops at anytime on Trek)
*If you feel like this is something you need help with, please contact Kayla. Our stake is wonderful and there are many trek clothes available to borrow.
PRAYERS: Please add the youth to your prayers! Please keep the youth in your prayers! They are incredible and capable of more than they realize. We hope each will come with an open heart and mind, ready for connections that can bless them for a lifetime.

Dinner (7pm):
- BBQ Pulled pork sandwiches

- Homemade fries

Breakfast (8am):
- Pancakes

Lunch (12pm):

Dinner (7pm):
Marinated pork loin
Fried rice
- Grilled pineapple
Snack:
- Scones with Cinnamon/Sugar or honey butter

Daily Trek Schedule
Monday, July 21st
- 8:30 am: Arrive at your building for transportation to Sellers Creek
- 9 am: Hit the road
- 10:30 am: Arrive at Sellars Creek- unload gear and personal items to campsites designated for your company.
- 11 am: Orientation with Camp Missionaries. Get hand carts
- 12pm – 1 pm: Flag Ceremony – LUNCH – Grab and Go, Set up camps
- 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Trekking
- 5:30 – 7 pm: Meal prep & activities
- 7 – 8 pm: DINNER
- 8 pm: Flag Ceremony/Fireside
- 9 pm: Time with Companies/families
- 10 pm: LIGHTS OUT
Tuesday, July 22nd
- 8 am: Flag Ceremony, Breakfast
- 9 am: Time to trek
- Noon: LUNCH
- 1 pm: Trek to West Grove | Womens pull/Youth Pull
- 2 pm: Trek to Rendezvous Point
- 4 pm: Trek back to camp | Water crossing
- 7 – 8 pm: DINNER
- 8 – 10 PM: Flag Ceremony | Activities | Time with Companies
- 10 pm: LIGHTS OUT
Tuesday, July 22nd
- 8 am: Flag Ceremony, Breakfast
- 9 am: Trek to Perspective Peak
- 11 am: Trek back to Sellars Creek
- 12:30 – 1 pm: Flag Ceremony/LUNCH
- 2 pm: Clean up camps, carts
- 3 pm: Time to head home!
- 4:30 pm: Back to buildings
August 10th: Trek Reflection Fireside
